Many traditions, one map of the channels.
I'm Jonathan Shubs. I have practised acupuncture in Lausanne since 2006, and I teach Unified Acupuncture Theory to practitioners in Europe and Australia. It is a way of seeing how the channels work together, so that the methods you already use become one coherent whole.
Three core courses. Each one stands on its own, and together they form the foundation of the approach. Most practitioners begin with Dance of the Channels.

A trauma-informed training with Mary Lennon for practitioners who want to work with what lies beneath the symptom. It brings Compassionate Inquiry® into acupuncture practice, and acupuncture into the inquiry.

I opened my clinic in Lausanne in 2006 and studied for many years with Daniel Deriaz and Dr Richard Tan. Unified Acupuncture Theory grew out of that clinical work: channel interactions, holography, the logic of the I Ching and the five elements, brought together into one way of thinking.
I have written two books and three journal articles, and I have taught in Poland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, England, Switzerland and Australia.

“Wonderful course, great material, very well presented with a logical explanation of the whys, hows and when to utilise one system or another. Very generous with information.”
“I love every moment! Each time I am attending I get surprised by the high level of teaching, the practical application of it in the clinic.”
“I am a new acupuncturist and this training exceeds my expectations. Jonathan teaches a solid foundation course that allows us to quickly understand and apply the theory in the clinic.”
“Excellent knowledge and presence. I love how you make it simple.”
“Even though I knew Dr Tan’s system well, I really appreciated the teaching approach and the unifying, elegant view of the different balance systems. It sheds light on a lot of things. And I finally understood Tung acupuncture. Now I allow myself to use it, because I didn’t like applying something I don’t understand.”
